Poker Room Says No Money Coming Yet

Online poker room Full Tilt Poker is not yet paying back its customers. The poker room had announced that some funds had been unfrozen but are not yet available. The poker site was one of many targeted by the US federal government when they seized poker sites and shut them down temporarily. US players are not allowed on these sites and are looking for their money back, and till now the funds at Full Tilt Poker were frozen. Just recently at least one major account was unfrozen, but the site said in an official statement “We still do not have a specific timeframe for this.”

DRAWING DEAD - A draw in which it is impossible to obtain a winning hand for any of a variety of reasons: an opponent's hand is better than whatever you are drawing to, the card(s) that make your hand are out of play, or (in Hold'em) give an opponent a stronger hand even if it makes yours. HOOK - A Jack. So named because the "J" resembles a hook.
CHECK RAISE - To check initially, then raise a bet made later on in the same betting round. Frequently a sign of strength, but may be a bluff.
