The latest sponsor of the upcoming WSOP is Blue Shark Optics. The company is a maker of poker sunglasses. The 2011 World Series of Poker recently removed ties to online poker rooms as sponsors, but there are still plenty of other companies that offer sponsorship. Blue Shark Optics is the “Official Poker Eyewear of the World Series of Poker” which means poker players will likely be spotted wearing the sunglasses as they play. Many poker tournaments are filled with sunglass-wearing players, and companies like Blue Shark Optics produce special eyewear for use indoors.
