The first ever WPT Seminole event will come down to six players at the final table. The actual final table holds ten players, but once it is down to six it is called the TV table. The TV table will be the final players who will appear on the broadcast of the World Poker Tour show. This is the first TV table for the Florida WPT event. The final poker pros at this poker tournament are: Taylor Von Kriegenbergh, Justin Zaki, Abbey Daniels, Allen Bari, Tommy Vedes and Curt Kohlberg.

One online poker room has decided to hold on to it's US player base. In the wake of poker sites like PokerStars blocking US players, Lock Poker announces they are still open to poker players from the USA. In a recent press release the poker room pointed out that after May 1st they remain the only poker room to accept poker players from the US. Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and UB.com all were targeted by the US department of justice, but even other poker rooms blocked US players, making it increasingly difficult to find a place to play online.

May 2 - Poker Stars have seen a 28% drop in players, while Full Tilt is down 35%, according to PokerScout.

 

The final table is set at the PokerStars European Poker Tour San Remo is set and Rupert Elder leads the way.
