The leader of the EPT San Remo event is Team PokerStars pro Ruben Visser. The San Remo event is sponsored by online poker room PokerStars. On day three the poker players from the first two days combined for a total of 460 players. While Visser was in the lead with 251k chips, Nicolas Chouity, the EPT Grand Final champion is still in the running. The two leaders had a hard time hanging in during the third day but they survived, with Greek poker players Georgios Manousos taking over the lead by the end of the day.

Despite the uproar over online poker on the national front one US state is considering the legalization of online poker. The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has been ordered to study the affects of legalizing online poker. The measure was passed by the House State Government Committee. The Racing and Gaming Commission will have until December 1st to report on if making poker games legal to play online would benefit the state. If so it would meant that taxes from online poker players would benefit the state.

The leader after day three in the WPT Florida event is Taylor von Kriegenbergh. The World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Showdown was whittled down from 145 poker players to 51. Krigenbergh worked up to over a million dollars in poker chips during the poker game. The next poker player leading in the poker tournament was Abbey Daniels, with nearly the same amount. The next player in line has less than half of the same amount, Justin Zaki. Mike Sexton, best known as an announcer in the World Poker Tour, is also still in the event.

The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) is in full swing at the Casino San Remo in Italy, the next-to-last stop on its seventh season. With the cards in the air on Saturday, the money bubble had burst and players are taking their share of the €4,786,950 prize pool.
