When the major poker rooms were attacked by the US Justice Department it left a vacuum that many other online poker rooms are moving swiftly to fill. One poker site in particular issued a press release pointing out how insular they have always been from US players. The Guru Play UK Poker Site said in the release that they have never accepted US players, and that makes them bulletproof as far as the US Justice Department is concerned. In fact, the site is not only US player- free, but according to the announcement only takes UK based poker players.
