Online poker room PokerStars has announced they will be lowering the guaranteed prize pools of their upcoming SCOOP events. The poker games of the 2011 Spring Championship of Online Poker have prize pools that reflect the new online poker environment now that the poker room has blocked US players. The poker room has slated $45 million in guarantees when they first announced the 2011 SCOOP schedule, but now are advertising $25 million. Another change are the event start times, which now fall in European time zones.
