Online poker room PokerStars dealt their 60 Billionth hand recently. The poker room was paying out awards on every millionth hand. The poker site paid “Pogo650” over $100,000 when he won the magical hand playing a six-seated $5/$10 limit Texas Holdem table. Another $100,000 was split among the other five players involved in the hand. Pogo650 won the pot, which had $150 in it, plus $102,000. One player folded pre flop and as such did not get to share in the prize money.

Online poker room Full Tilt Poker may be partnering with a land based casino company. The rumor is that the online poker site will join with Station Casinos. Just days ago the news broke about a partnership with PokerStars and Wynn Resorts, so many online poker sources are buzzing with the most recent rumor. There have been other instances of rumors regarding the joining of online poker rooms and live casino companies, such as a joining of 888 Holdings(owner of 888 Poker) and Caesar’s Entertainment.
In a final judgment issued last week, United States District Court Judge James Nowlin has dismissed all claims by Deliverance Poker against 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event final tablist Michael Mizrachi and Tiltware, LLC, the ownership behind Full Tilt Poker.
The latest WPT winner is Dmitry Gromov. The Russian poker pro picked up the title to the World Poker Tour Vienna. His victory came on Tuesday as he picked up the €447,840 first-place prize. This poker game win is the biggest of his career, although he has had first place finishes before. All together he has over a million dollars in live tournament wins. The Vienna event drew 555 players, breaking a record for attendance at a World Poker Tour European venue and building a prizepool of €1,776,000
