Online poker room Party Poker recently was named as the most visited poker site on the web. Party Poker was singled out by Alexa, which researches website traffic. The online poker room was ranked above its competitors, many of which are considered more powerful, such as Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker as well as 3D poker game site PKR. One of the largest percentages of players who visit Party Poker, according to Alexa, are unmarried males from Germany, which make up a total of twenty two percent.

A new poker pro has been named at online poker room VC Poker. While Roy Brindley is new to the online poker room he certainly is not new to playing poker professionally. Known as “the Boy”, Roy Brindley is well known in the UK poker circuits and around the world. As a representative of VC Poker Brindley will appear at live poker events and play online. He will likely attend the World Series of Poker this summer in Las Vegas wearing the logo of his new online poker room sponsor.

Online poker room PokerStars has added another poker pro to it’s Team. The latest addition to Team PokerStars is Eugene Katchalov. Katchalov won a World Poker Tour title and a major event in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure this year, pushing live tournament earnings up over six million dollars. He also does well online where he won a World Championship of Online Poker event and is one of the few poker pros to take on Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom in the SuperStar Showdown, a series of poker games where the highest stakes are played in a winner take all format.
