There were 45,232 entrants who built a prize pool of $3,166,240, which more than surpassed the $1,250,000 Guarantee advertised. 2nd place went to Demon1531, who earned $360,944.14 while 3rd place finisher manu_litas earned $208,971.84 and the 4th place finisher, Tschmidt banked an impressive $148,813.28.

A poker player from Alaska wants to bring some of the adventure of his state to tourists in Las Vegas. Perry Green, an Anchorage businessman, proposes the "Alaska Adventure Center" for Sin City. He said that while there will be plenty to attract tourists the one thing there wont be are poker tournaments. There won't be gambling, but there will be live shows and shopping, which he hopes will attract poker players and other tourists. While poker games are off the table there may be enough of an appeal for the project to get a green light in Nevada.
