In an announcement this morning from the online poker industry’s leading site, PokerStars welcomed back Lee Jones in a new role. Jones will become the Head of Home Games, the recently introduced segment of the site where players can set up their own private games. Previously, Jones served as the Poker Room Manager of the site, a position he left in 2007 to pursue other interests.

A poker player from Alaska wants to bring some of the adventure of his state to tourists in Las Vegas. Perry Green, an Anchorage businessman, proposes the "Alaska Adventure Center" for Sin City. He said that while there will be plenty to attract tourists the one thing there wont be are poker tournaments. There won't be gambling, but there will be live shows and shopping, which he hopes will attract poker players and other tourists. While poker games are off the table there may be enough of an appeal for the project to get a green light in Nevada.
