The Big Game will return this April to England. The Big Game V is sponsored by online poker room Party Poker. The poker room hosts the event each year at the Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham, UK. This year the poker site event will take place from April 15-17. The Big Game is a 48 hour cash game best described as a marathon. Players will include Annette Obrestad, Tony G, Neil Channing and Jennifer Tilly, as well as  Roberto Romanello and Sam Trickett who is a poker pro for online poker room Titan Poker.

Poker pro Gus Hansen recently had a very good day playing online poker. Hansen’s victim was poker pro Scott Palmer. Known online as URnotINdanger2, Palmer found himself in danger when he lost more than $200,000 to the Great Dane. All told this year Gus Hansen has made about $3.5 million playing online poker, which makes him the biggest winner of the year so far. Palmer is a relative new comer to the world of online poker and does not have Hansen’s years of experience or track record, but his performance to date suggests he can withstand the loss he suffered.
