While his accomplishments were becoming legend for a while no one knew the player’s name. The mystery has been reveiled, and the young poker pro turned out to be José Macedo. He started playing online poker at the age of 16 and says he was inspired by Tom “Durrr” Dwan and played up to ten hours a day. He has been nicknamed the Portuguese Isildur1.

March 14 - The Nevada bill, which limits online poker to state residents only, has already been met by opposition from a number of groups.
On Monday, Full Tilt Poker announced the debut of the Onyx Cup, a series of six high-stakes live tournaments starting in May in Las Vegas. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill tournaments, either. Instead, five preliminary No Limit Hold’em events will have buy-ins between $100,000 and $300,000, while the Grand Finale comes with a $250,000 price tag and will have $1 million added.
