Poker pro Darvin Moon has signed with a poker company but not an online poker room. Moon will now represent Heartland Poker Tour. Moon has been heard to say he would never sign with an online poker room because he was self employed and would not want a boss. Now that he has signed with the Heartland Poker Tour some may see it as going back on his word, but Moon was referencing poker rooms on the internet and the poker tour is a live poker series.

Online poker room Everest Poker has released the schedule for the Poker ONE poker game. The series will include a €25k buy in. Poker players will be able to compete for a €1 million guaranteed prize pool. The event will take place in Salle des Palmiers, Monaco from April 21 to 24, 2011. There will be a PLO event and the rest will be Texas Hold’em, although some will be high rollers and turbo. The main event will be a €5,000 + €300 €1 million guaranteed tournament

On Wednesday, the Nevada Gaming Control Board approved the groundwork of a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and gambling giant 888 Holdings that could potentially change the legal landscape of online poker in the state of Nevada. According to a report from the Las Vegas Sun, Caesars formed a relationship with two subsidiaries of 888 Holdings, Fordart Ltd. and Cassava Enterprises Ltd., which the company believes will help expand its World Series of Poker brand into the U.K. market.
