Ten days ago, a lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of the State of California numbered VC057998. The litigation pits poker players Eli Strickland and Edwin Pairavi against the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles over what the Plaintiffs claim is a “classic bait and switch.”
There was plenty going on this week in the poker industry including the Bellagio thief being apprehended, Jonathan Duhamel’s High Roller win, and more.
A brand new week of NBC’s “Poker After Dark” premieres on Monday. In fact, the new cycle, a $150,000 Cash Game, is so big that it will span two weeks. The blinds will be $300/$600 with an ante of $100 and the game features a rock solid lineup of pros.
With Super Bowl XLV upon us, many in the poker community are preparing for the “Big Game” in different ways. While many are in Dallas for the festivities, some will actually be working when the game begins on Sunday night.
