While wrapping up the proceedings in the Bahamas, PokerStars announced several new stops on its range of global tours, including the North American Poker Tour (NAPT).
In 2009, Canadian Will Molson was the runner-up to Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier in the $25,000 buy-in High Roller Event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). In 2010, he once again played second fiddle in the prestigious tournament, this time to William Reynolds. Over the weekend, Molson finally broke through and took down the High Roller Event for over $1 million.

The first event of the sixth UB.com Online Championship (UBOC) kicked off on Sunday night and featured a healthy field of 664 players. The $530 No Limit Hold’em contest whittled down to one man, Laurence “DONT_RIVER_ME” Houghton, who came away with a $78,000 top prize. In September, Houghton took down a PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) title; he also owns a Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) jersey.
