It’s shaping up to be an interesting last 10 days of the current Congressional session for members of the online poker community. On Tuesday, Politico published an article revealing that U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) was attempting to add a bill legalizing online poker to the measure extending tax cuts. Dan Harrington‘s speech inducting him into the Poker Hall of Fame is seen here in its entirety. Harrington was elected to this year’s group of entrants which also included Erik Seidel. He is best known for both winning the 1995 World Series of Poker Main Event as well as the many poker strategy books he has authored.

Yesterday, PokerStars took the unexpected step of signing the online enigma Isildur1. The Swede gained fame by multi-tabling against the world’s best players including Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, and Tom “durrrr” Dwan.
Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates put in a short session of the “durrrr Challenge” on Tuesday.
