Tyson “POTTERPOKER” Marks is poker’s newest multi-millionaire after winning the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event early Tuesday morning. The $2,278,097 payday was the largest in the history of online poker, surpassing 2009 WCOOP Main Event winner Yevgeniy “Jovial Gent” Timoshenko ($1,715,200).
This morning marked the start of play at the final table for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Europe’s Main Event. Of the nine players who ran the gauntlet of some of the best poker players in the world, perhaps no one was happier about the achievement than chip leader and Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman.
In October, PartyPoker will bring back one of its most popular promotions of all-time, the Card Rush XL. The promotion last ran in July and offers up 1.8 million prizes, including cash, freeroll entries, Party Points, and Card Rush XL Leaderboard Points.
