John Dolan November Nine Video Interview

John Dolan joins us after making the coveted 2010 WSOP November Nine. Dolan is a young online pro from Fort Myers, Florida and paid his own way into the World Series of Poker Main Event. Dolan will enter the final table of play when it resumes in November with the second largest chip stack at 46.25 million. Dolan previously cashed in this year’s World Series with a 32nd place finish in Event 30, which was a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event which awarded him $13,541. He followed up by making a final table at Event 36, a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em tournament which had a field of 3,102 players and finished in 6th place, good for $82,804.

In this interview Dolan discusses what happened during the final table play when it was down to the final 10 players. He talks about how he made over 20 million in tournament chips without a showdown and some of the other players he took the money from. Dolan also answers questions about what might be coming up in his future regarding upcoming big tournaments such as the World Poker Tour, the World Series of Poker Europe which will be played in London as well as the PokerStars NAPT which will be in Los Angeles shortly after the November Nine concludes.

Dolan is no stranger to internet success as well, having won the Full Tilt Poker $1,000 Monday tournament for a $94,500 payday. The day before that win he placed 3rd in the $100 PokerStars Re-buy for just over $13,000. One of his key eliminations during the final stretch to the final table was Duy Le when both players were short stacked. Dolan shoved all his chips in with just K-6 of diamonds and was called by Le who held A-Q offsuit. Despite being an underdog in the hand, Dolan was able to spike a King on the flop.
