Business owner Patrick Eskandar finished 20th in the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event and cashed for $317,000. The windfall marked his first in the money finish in a WSOP tournament.
Longtime poker pro Hasan Habib posted a deep run in the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. A resident of Downey, California, Habib was born in Pakistan and is a former tennis champion. Habib took down a coveted WSOP bracelet in 2004 after winning a $1,500 Seven Card Stud High-Low Eight or Better event, wading through a quaint field of 213 players. His competition at the final table of that event included fellow bracelet winners Blair Rodman and “The First Lady of Poker” Linda Johnson.
The 2010 WSOP November Nine will mark their place in history and become instant poker celebrities, along with enjoying the perks of what promises to be high value endorsement deals. Play began on July 17th at noon from the Rio at the World Series of Poker Main Event with 27 runners left in the world’s biggest tournament.
After Day 7 concluded, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event was down to just three tables.
