The dispute between World Series of Poker (WSOP) on-felt sponsor Everest Poker and the casino gaming goliath Harrah’s just became even more heated. Late last week, the Las Vegas Sun newspaper reported that Everest Gaming Limited sued Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment claiming trademark infringement for using “Everest trademarks during the 2010 World Series of Poker now underway at the Rio.”

Wednesday was one of the busiest days in the history of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), as not only was the official Tournament of Champions lineup released, but also three tournaments played down to a champion at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Among the winners was Jeff Tebben, a medical supplies salesman from Missouri, who beat Poker News Daily’s J.D. McNamara heads-up to win his first bracelet in the $1,000 No Limit Hold ‘em Event #24.

In the conclusion of our sit down interview with poker icon Phil Hellmuth, we hear about his goals of being on the covers of Time Magazine and Sports Illustrated. Host Sean Gibson predicts that all it will take is to win the WSOP Main Event again, which Hellmuth shares his thoughts about. Finally, Gibson asks Hellmuth his impressions of UB.com and the CEREUS network after the recent negative publicity surrounding the security hole exposed which was recently fixed. Hellmuth’s answers on that topic as well as his predictions about the future of UB.com were surprising to say the least.
