Cake Poker Network Partners with CTXM

The Cake Poker Network partnered with European-based online casino software provider CTXM last week in a plan to market their services jointly to gaming sites worldwide. The Cake Poker Network and CTXM and will now share online poker sites PowerPoker.com, the newly launched AdamEvePoker.com, and the soon-to-be-launched Comeon.com.

Said CTXM CEO Udy Yosha, “Since Cake and CTXM operate non-competitive businesses within the online gaming space and have a similar model, joining forces seemed like the perfect evolution of the relationship. Our partnership with Cake perfectly fits with our strategy of providing one-stop-shop solutions to our partners.”

CTXM provides end-to-end solutions for online casinos including a broad range of table games, card games, video slots, video poker, soft games, mini-games, and full back-office tools in its XCasino brand. The casino operator has extensive operational, marketing, and promotional tools that are fully integrated into the casino lobby and games.

“Cake is extremely pleased to partner with CTXM due to their long history in online gaming, their top shelf partners, and their high levels of innovation,” added Cake Poker’s director of marketing Andrew Turner. “We are also excited to be launching two new partners to the Cake Network in Comeon.com and AdamEvePoker.com, both of which bring strong brands and unique marketing approaches. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

The Cake Poker Network recently announced that it is introducing several new features in its updated poker software, Cake 2.0. Among the improvements are a new lobby setup and features such as a calendar, tournament notifications, and a theme editor to change the appearance of the game window. The changes are expected to improve the visual appeal of the site and enhance the gaming experience.

That news came shortly after one of the oldest rooms in the industry, Intertops, made the move to the Cake Poker Network. Formerly of the Microgaming Network, Intertops started as a gambling firm in 1983 and opened its poker room in 2003. With the addition, the Cake Network hopes to bring in some much needed traffic after watching its numbers fall in recent months.

According to PokerScout.com, the Cake Poker Network is the 11th largest worldwide in online poker traffic, averaging 1,200 ring game players over the past week. The network, which is headquartered in the Dutch Antilles, consists of 55 different rooms, including such popular sites as DoylesRoom and Phil Laak’s Unabomber Poker, and happily accepts players from the United States.
