Fur Rondy poker tournament back on
A clarification from the state issued Thursday gives the Fur Rendezvous the OK to proceed with its popular poker tournament. A time and location will be announced later Friday.

Poker lingo:
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- OVER - A term used in describing two pair or a full house. "Kings over tens" means two pair, kings and tens. "Jacks over", also "Jacks up" describes a hand that is two pair: Jacks with an unspecified lower pair. Also used to describe a full house, distinguishing the three of a kind from the pair. The hand J-J-J-A-A could be described as "Full house, Jacks over Aces".
- TRIPS - Three of a kind. In Hold'em the term SET is used when two of the three cards are hole cards.
- MITES AND LICE - A hand consisting of two pair, threes over twos.
- POT - The total amount of money bet so far in a hand.
- TOP TWO PAIR - In flop games, having hole cards that make the highest possible two pair hand.
