Raynham man wins $500,000 in poker tourney
Mohegan Sun hosted the $500,000 Guaranteed Fall Showdown, a nine-day event starting on Nov. 14. Christopher Barns of Raynham won second place in the fifth of 10 competitions. This economically friendly event offered reasonable buy-ins and one of the top poker prize pools in New England, said casino officials.

Poker lexicon:
