Brunson’s poker tournament attracts top professionals
Cards are scheduled to be shuffled up and dealt in one of the biggest poker tournaments of the year this week at the Bellagio. The World Poker Tours Doyle Brunson Five Diamond Classic, which kicks off at noon Monday and runs through Saturday, will bring all of pokers biggest names, who consider it one of the most prestigious tournaments on the circuit.

- EDGE - An advantage over an opponent, either specific or subjective.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- LEAK - To show one's hole cards (often unknowingly).
- DOYLE BRUNSON - In Hold'em, 10-2 in the hole. So named because Doyle Brunson won two straight WSOPs (q.v.) in 1975 and 1976 with 10-2 on the last hand. (Suited (spades) in 1975, unsuited in 1976).
- STEAM - Playing wildly, calling and raising a lot, because one is upset. Compare: ON TILT.
- TOP TWO PAIR - In flop games, having hole cards that make the highest possible two pair hand.
