Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, and Brian Townsend had each taken big portions of the mysterious Isildur1’s bankroll over the past month and a half. On Tuesday, it was Brian Hastings‘ turn. The 21-year-old Full Tilt Pro and CardRunners instructor brawled with Isildur1 at the $500/1,000 Pot Limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt and, five hours later, walked away with more than $3 million of the Swede’s money, resulting in one of the biggest winning sessions in online poker history.
The online poker world was fixated at the micro-stakes games last week, as Joey “JoeIngram1″ Ingram won a lucrative prop bet that involved setting the world record for number of hands played. The prop bet wasn’t all about simple volume, but also required Ingram to show a profit over the 50,000 hands played within a 24-hour period at the 25nl ($0.10-$0.25) games. Once he accomplished the feat, Ingram took in over $30,000 in side money. The CEREUS Network has taken another step towards regaining the trust of its customer base. The independent certification group eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) recently announced that CEREUS met all of the qualifications for the organization’s seal of approval.
