Three of four players left at the World Series of Poker main event early Sunday had tasted the lead at the final table as they traded chips and wagered their tournament lives in hopes of a multimillion-dollar payday.

Poker glossary:
- SPREAD LIMIT - A variation on fixed limit wherein the minimum and maximum bets are different. A 1-4-8 game allows bets from 1 to 4 in the early rounds and 1-8 in the last round. A 1-4-8-16 game allows bets from 1 to 4 in the early rounds, 1 to 8 in the next-to-last round, and 1 to 16 in the last round.
- IN - Still eligible to win the pot. "I'm in" is often spoken as one adds chips to the pot, calling.
- GUT SHOT - A draw to an inside straight, as in 2-3-4-6.
- TURN - The fourth community card in Hold'em.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- HOOK - A Jack. So named because the "J" resembles a hook.
