The Manassas Host Lions Club will host its third annual Texas Hold Em benefit tournament Oct. 17.
Two foreigners have been jailed for six months for operating a gambling house, Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court ruled at the weekend. Patrick Liang, 27, a Chinese Brazilian, and Al Gokcimen, a 44-year-old Australian, charged gamblers money to play poker.

However, those who like to plan ahead are already setting their sights on another upcoming Atlantic City tournament series, the World Series of Poker Circuit Event (WSOPC) at Harrah’s in December.
While there is poker on television and different outlets that offer podcasts, currently there isn’t a one that is dedicated to poker 24/7. A Canadian entertainment company is looking to change that with the rollout of an internet television station.
