Phil Hellmuth on Poker: My Big Blunder at the WPT
The six-week-long World Series of Poker ended for me on July 11. Only two days later, the first World Poker Tour event of the season began with a $15,000 buy-in affair. That would be an opportunity for redemption as I could erase the memory of a disappointing WSOP in one fell swoop.

Poker dictionary:
- TO GO - The current betting level, as in "$20 to go" meaning every player must contribute $20 (total) or drop. A $10 raise would then make the pot "$30 to go".
- LEAK - To show one's hole cards (often unknowingly).
- STUD - Any of several poker games in which some of each players' cards are exposed.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
- STRAIGHT - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence but not in suit.
- SUICIDE KING - King of Hearts. So named because in the drawing the king appears to be stabbing himself in the head.
