SAN FRANCISCO WPT Enterprises Inc., which produces the World Poker Tour television series, said Monday it has agreed to sell substantially all of the company’s operating assets to Peerless Media Ltd.

World Poker Tour Enterprises (WPTE) announced this afternoon that Peerless Media, a subsidiary of PartyGaming, has purchased the WPT for $12.3 million, as well as “an ongoing 5% participation in gaming and other revenues generated by the assets.”…
The long-awaited second bidder in the sale of World Poker Tour Enterprises (WPTE) has finally been revealed. Peerless Media Limited, a subsidiary of Party Gaming, will purchase the rights to the popular poker tour for $12.3 million plus 5% of future gaming revenues.
