Poker Run benefit set for injured Bethel man
A Bethel Acres man who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident June 1 continues to recover at home, and said he hopes to soon toss out a walker he needs to get around. As he recovers, many are planning a benefit Poker Run Saturday to help him with medical expenses. Bill Goodnight, 47, was injured in the collision at SH 18 and Westech Road while on his way to work at Eaton Corporation.

Poker jargon:
- LIVE ONE - The best kind of opponent, a poor player with a lot of money to lose and in a hurry to lose it.
- FLOORMAN - The casino representative in charge of the card room or a section of a card room. Arbitrates disputes when unusual events happen.
- SHARK - A good/crafty player often posing as a fish early in the game.
- FLAT CALL - To call a bet. Emphasizes that the caller did not raise.
- FOURTH STREET - In stud poker, the fourth card dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the fourth community card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is TURN (q.v.).
- LITTLE SLICK - In Hold'em, hole cards of A-2, suited or not.
