Get out there: Poker tournament for charity at Cliffhangers
The March of Dimes and Farmers Insurance Group are holding the first Texas Hold Em poker tournament from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Cliffhangers Grill Pub, 2850 Humboldt Road, Green Bay.

Poker terminology:
- RING GAME - A standard game where players can come and go as they choose. The opposite of TOURNAMENT.
- POCKET PAIR - Generic Hold'em term for 2 hole cards of the same rank.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- BET FOR VALUE - Betting a hand that, in the long run, is expected to win more than it loses. Antonym: BLUFF.
- SIXTH STREET - The sixth card dealt in 7-card stud.
- BOAT - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
