Pig roast/poker run benefit for woman
There will be a pig roast/poker run Saturday for the benefit of Crystal Townsend who has been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. Registration is at 10 a.m. and the pig roast begins at 4 p.m. at TAs West. Stops on the poker run include Vans Tavern, Osceola Hotel, Boonville Hotel, and the Milk Plant.

- SPLIT [OPENERS] - In draw poker, to discard one or more openers, usually to draw to a straight or flush. Normally requires the opener to declare the act and retain the discards so that the act of opening can later be validated.

- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- LOOSE - Playing more hands than the norm. Antonym: TIGHT.
