The popular PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) returns on September 3rd and consists of 45 tournaments, an increase from the 33 that were run in 2008. Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, HORSE, Badugi, and 2-7 Triple Draw events will be held.
Registration for the World Series of Poker main event was closed today with several players, including some of the games notable professionals, unable to buy a seat in the $10,000 entry tournament at the Rio.
