Kili Madrid still in contention at World Series of Poker
LAS VEGAS — Kili Madrid remained in contention after Friday’s first round of the World Series of Poker main event, finishing the day with $44,225. ‘’I was all the way up to $97,000,'’ said Madrid, a 1996 Baldwin High School graduate and former professional boxer who now lives in Los Angeles.

- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- RAIL - A barrier dividing the card playing area from a public area.
- TOP TWO PAIR - In flop games, having hole cards that make the highest possible two pair hand.
- RUSH - A winning streak. Also "ON A RUSH".
- UNDER THE GUN - The position that has to act first in a round of betting.
