UW-Whitewater grad at it again at World Series of Poker
Eric Baldwin, a 26-year-old poker pro who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and played on the school’s 2005 Division III national championship baseball team, is at it again at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Poker lexicon:
- STAKE - The amount of a player's BUY-IN, or the amount of money they are willing to play with in a given session. Compare: BANKROLL.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
- IN - Still eligible to win the pot. "I'm in" is often spoken as one adds chips to the pot, calling.
- OPEN-HANDED - A category of games characterized by a part of each player's hand being exposed.
- FIRE - To make the first bet in a betting round. Used to emphasize that the player bet when a check was possible, showing strength.
- DEALER'S CHOICE - In home games, a rule that permits the dealer to name which poker game to be played that hand. Often limited to selecting from a list provided.
