Pa. House Speaker Takes Table Games Over Video Poker
The speaker of the Pennsylvania House says he thinks table games in casinos are a better bet to be approved in the near future than Governor Rendells proposal to legalize video poker.

Casino poker language:
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
- FREE CARD - A card dealt after all players checked in a betting round.
- CHECK RAISE - To check initially, then raise a bet made later on in the same betting round. Frequently a sign of strength, but may be a bluff.
- CARDS SPEAK - Winner(s) of the hand are determined by turning their cards face up, the best hand(s) wins (no declaration).
- STAND OFF - To call a raise. "Opener raises, I stand off".
