Mike Eise’s Hobby Pays Off Big In less than 24 hours, a plumber from Troy, Missouri, went from being laid off, to being paid off. Mike Eise is a pipe-fitter who picked up playing cards when he was a kid from his grandfather. That hobby led Eise all the way to the final day of the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
