Boat poker run great for local economy, say the proponents Event Runs Length Of Lake June 27
The Valley Heat Poker Run on Cowichan Lake at the end of June expects to pump $150,000 into the local economy, organizers told Lake Cowichan town council last week.

- TOURNAMENT - A highly structured game involving potentially dozens of tables where all participants pay an entry fee and obtain a fixed number of chips.
