The World Poker Tour kicked off last month with an event at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. 260 players anted up $10,000 each to create a prize pool worth $2.6 million with only the final 30 players finishing in the money.
A federal judge has ordered the Palm Beach Kennel Club to pay 18 poker dealers a total of $133,206 in back wages and damages after a jury ruled in March that the club illegally set their base pay below the minimum wage.
PlayerGPS.com, a website that offers the ability to add players to an alert list and receive notifications when they sit at a cash game table, announced a slew of updates as well as its final pricing model.
