Pittsburgh-Area Video Poker Kingpin Pleads Guilty
A Pittsburgh-area man serving a federal prison sentence for violating his probation on a multimillion-dollar video poker machine conviction has pleaded guilty to running yet another gambling operation.

- LIVE ONE - The best kind of opponent, a poor player with a lot of money to lose and in a hurry to lose it.
- QUARTER - [1] Twenty-five dollars, often symbolized by a green casino chip. [2] To divide half a pot between two tying hands. In split pot games, a player who "ties" another player for their half of the pot is said to be "quartered". One might say "I didn't bet my A-2 because I figured I'd get quartered".
- RUNNER-RUNNER - A hand made using both of the last two cards dealt.
- TRIP - Three of a specific kind, as in "Trip sixes".
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- TOURNAMENT - A highly structured game involving potentially dozens of tables where all participants pay an entry fee and obtain a fixed number of chips. Once a tournament has started, additional players may not enter. As the game progresses players bust out and are eliminated until only one winner remains.
