UNC student finds ‘magical’ cure for poker addiction
GREELEY - While an undergraduate student at the University of Northern Colorado, Chris Kobayashi fell into a poker addiction.

Poker jargon:
- ON THE COME - A situation where the player does not have a complete hand but hopes to make one if the right cards come up.
- HOLE CARDS - In Stud and Hold'em, the face-down cards dealt to each player.
- SHARK - A good/crafty player often posing as a fish early in the game.
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
- POSSIBLE [STRAIGHT/FLUSH] - Up cards that quite possibly could lead to a straight and/or a flush.
- BAD GAME - Any game in which you figure to be the loser, because the other players are better than you.
