Poker run a winning cause for Thomasville firefighters
THOMASVILLE - An annual poker run to raise funds for the Thomasville firehouse and to honor a fallen firefighter will be held Sunday, March 1, in the upper Fryingpan Valley.

- KICKER TROUBLE - Not having as high a kicker as an opponent.
- BOARD - The exposed cards in Hold'em and stud. Also BOARD CARDS.
- ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
- IN - Still eligible to win the pot. "I'm in" is often spoken as one adds chips to the pot, calling.
- TOKE - Gambling term for "tip", as in "Toke the cocktail waitress". Comes from the term "Token of appreciation".
- RUSH - A winning streak. Also "ON A RUSH".
