Poker players declared guilty
MOUNT PLEASANT Five poker players challenging South Carolina’s anti-gambling laws lost their first round Thursday when a judge declared them guilty. But as most poker players know, you can lose the first pot and still stick around for the long haul, meaning an appeal is likely.
