Playtech is Boosted by Poker Sales
Playtech followed up a large third-quarter revenue performance by reporting strong trading in October and figures are even stronger this month. Playtech reported that trading in October was 10.6 per cent higher than the daily average in the third quarter.

Poker jargon:
- IN - Still eligible to win the pot. "I'm in" is often spoken as one adds chips to the pot, calling.
- POT LIMIT - A game where the maximum bet is determined by the size of the pot at the time. Note that a player wanting to raise first calls the bet, then totals the pot to determine the maximum amount he can raise.
- STRAIGHT - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence but not in suit.
- ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
- FISH - A player who loses money. An old saying is "If you can't spot the fish at the table, *you* are the fish.".
- POCKET PAIR - Generic Hold'em term for 2 hole cards of the same rank.
