Eastgate calm as he wins World Series of Poker
Peter Eastgate, a 22-year-old from Denmark who wears his ball cap backwards, earned $9.1 million today when he become the youngest player to win the main event at the World Series of Poker. Perhaps most surprisingly, he kept his poker face even after his triumph.

Poker lingo:
- LIVE ONE - The best kind of opponent, a poor player with a lot of money to lose and in a hurry to lose it.
- LOWBALL - Generic term for poker where the lowest hand wins.
- OPENERS - Cards in a hand that qualify a player to open the betting.
- SHILL - A card room employee who plays with House money, and does not share in any of his (her) winnings or losses. Shills are used to facilitate starting games, and keeping them going. Compare: PROP.
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
- CHASE - To continue in a hand, often at poor odds, in the hopes of catching a much better hand. "He called, chasing the flush.".
