WASHINGTON — The effort to roll back an Internet gambling ban has reached the Senate, with a bill by Sen. Robert Menendez that calls for licensing and regulating online poker and other “games of skill” instead of outlawing them.

 

Two of America’s most popular pastimes, baseball and Texas hold ‘em poker, are joining forces on Oct. 16, from 7 -11 p.m. at the Peppermill Hotel in Reno. The no-limit poker tournament will benefit Western Nevada College’s Wildcats Baseball Team.
