CANTON The Fire Department will host a poker run to benefit burn survivors today, starting at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The event will start at 9 a.m., with the last bike going out at 11 a.m. Bikes will return by 5 p.m. Music and activities will begin around the McKinley monument at 2 p.m. All festivities are open to the public.

A poker package is to be introduced into 200 pubs after a successful trial saw beer and cider sales soar. Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises (S&NPE) is rolling the scheme out to 200 of its community pubs after sales of the drinks went up by an average of three per cent on poker nights.
