Online Poker Room Adds Money to Big Events

Online poker series have become popular over the years, giving players a chance to participate in a World Series of Poker style festival without having to travel to Las Vegas, or in fact leave their home at all. One such series is LEOCOP, the Ladbrokes European Online Championship of Poker, and the fourth installment of LEOCOP is just around the corner, and as much as $250k has been added to the prize pools. The 15-event poker series will sport games in all the popular styles, from No Limit Texas Holdem to Pot Limit Omaha, and players can buy in directly or qualify for seats for as little as $1 at Ladbrokes Poker.

PROP - Also PROPOSITION PLAYER. An employee of the gaming establishment whose primary purpose is to keep enough players at a table to prevent breaking up the game for lack of players. MUCK - [1] A collection of face-down cards near the dealer composed of discards, i.e., folded hands, burns and discards for drawing purposes. [2] To throw one's cards into the muck, thus folding.
BEE No. 92 (TM) - Trade name for the "diamond back" cards frequently used in casino games. Compare: RIDER BACK.
SIDE POT - When an active player runs out of money during the course of a hand, the remaining players participate in a second or SIDE POT for the rest of the hand. Additional side pots are possible if several players run out of money at different points in a hand.
