Poker run scheduled Saturday
Sign-ups for the poker run will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Dollar in Plumville. The poker run will end in Bakerton, where there will be food and door prizes.

- BOARD - The exposed cards in Hold'em and stud. Also BOARD CARDS.
- STEAM - Playing wildly, calling and raising a lot, because one is upset. Compare: ON TILT.
- GUT SHOT - A draw to an inside straight, as in 2-3-4-6.
- RAISE - To wager more than the minimum required to call, forcing other players to put in more money as well.
- RAGS - Board cards that are small, not suited and not in sequence, e.g., 9-5-2. When "rags flop", it is unlikely that anyone has a good hand, except possibly the big blind in an unraised pot.
