NBC 2009 Poker After Dark at Golden Nugget
The hit NBC poker show Poker After Dark will be coming back for another season in 2009, and the network just announced that the season will be filmed at the Golden Nugget Events Center. While the season will air in 2009 the games will be played this year, running from October 26 to November 5. Each season is marked by the themes they give each week of shows, and the high profile, high stake pros that play in the games, such as Doyle Brunson, Huck Seed, Johnny Chan, and Chris Ferguson.

- FOLD - To decline to call a bet, thus dropping out of a hand.
- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- OPENER - The player who opens the betting, especially in draw poker. A hand may have no openers, in which case it is PASSED OUT, i.e., new hands are dealt.
- BIG SLICK - In Texas Hold'em, hole cards of A-K, suited or not.
- DRAW - [1] A class of poker games characterized by players being dealt 5 cards face-down and later having the opportunity to replace some of the original 5. "Draw poker" and "Five-card draw" are examples of usage. [2] In stud and Hold'em games, the set of cards that will be dealt later can be collectively called "the draw". [3] To discard some number of cards and have dealt an equal number of replacements.
