Nevada Cancer Institute plays poker
The World Series of Poker began in Las Vegas again on May 30 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. And for the third year in a row, Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. has named Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) the official charity for the tournament.

- CHASE - To continue in a hand, often at poor odds, in the hopes of catching a much better hand. "He called, chasing the flush.".
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- FLUSH - A poker hand consisting of five cards all one suit.
- FOUR OF A KIND - A hand containing all four cards of the same rank.
- LOOSE - Playing more hands than the norm. Antonym: TIGHT.
